McKenzie Cowlbeck

Hello and welcome! My name is McKenzie Cowlbeck (she/her). I am entering my second year of my Master of Public Health degree in Health Administration and Policy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Hudson College of Public Health. My professional interests include health policy and advocacy, public health, and human rights and equity.

This blog has worn a number of hats over the years. I'm most proud that it shows the personal and professional intellectual growth I've had since creating my blog and website back in 2016. Many of the unexpected experiences of my undergrad and post-grad life, ranging from the joy of traveling to Rio de Janeiro to processing the loss of friendship and the COVID-19 pandemic, have influenced my outlook, interests, and goals. Some of that change in perspective is reflected in this site one way or another.
